Our Environmental Policy

The consumption of energy, which plays an important and decisive role on the quality of life, is increasing day by day all over the world, and environmental problems that threaten the life of humanity are occurring due to this. How to avoid the environmental problems experienced and the search for solutions for the future are the common problems of humanity. The International Energy Agency (IEA), according to today's energy production and consumption patterns continue, by 2020, carbon emissions in the atmosphere to date, over 70% is projected to be. If this upward trend continues, it is estimated that unusual climate changes and agriculture and human settlements will be negatively affected.

The main issue to focus on is which energy sources should be used to meet the increasing energy demand. The participating countries of the meeting, which is called the “Kyoto Climate Change Protocol” on greenhouse gas emissions, have started a long-term process aimed at changing the energy production and consumption habits of today's and future generations. Recognizing that global warming is a real and serious problem, the participating countries have taken a binding decision to Decelerate greenhouse gas emissions by 5% between 2008 and 2012 from their 1990s levels. However, the energy sector is a (capital) intensive investment and change takes time.

Reducing energy use by changing personal habits or imposing restrictions on them is not as easy as predicted. For this reason, it is seen that the trend of switching to heat pumps that do not produce greenhouse gases will continue to increase.
