Monoblock Air Source Heat Pump
Unlike split and inverter systems, the monoblock air source heat pump consists of a single outdoor unit. Monoblock heat pumps are used in villas, detached houses, apartment buildings, and residential complexes such as housing sites. In addition to residential buildings, they are also used in service buildings like workplaces, offices, and hotels.
Air-source heat pumps provide heating, cooling, and hot water from a single device. With the control unit provided with the device, you can easily switch between heating and cooling with just one button. Additionally, you can create weekly schedules through the control unit. For example, with a simple setting on the control unit, your home can operate in the desired mode and temperature when you return from work. The air-source heat pump can operate with radiators, underfloor heating, and fan coils. If there is an existing system in place at the location, the system will continue to operate with it. If the building is newly constructed and no system is installed, underfloor heating is recommended. Moreover, if cooling is required in the building where the heat pump is installed, fan coils must be installed in the rooms where cooling will take place.
The advantage of using a monoblock air-source heat pump is that it houses all the components and equipment in a single system. During installation, there is no need for additional connection parts; the connection is made simply by attaching the inlet and outlet pipes. It is the easiest and fastest type of heat pump to install.
