Food drying is the oldest food preservation method that has been practiced for centuries. During the drying process, the water in the food is evaporated and removed. Thus, it prevents formations such as mold, bacteria, moisture, dampness and insect infestation.

With drying methods, you can use drying methods to produce fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, chicken, plants, herbs, pet food and nuts that you can think of. You can dry all kinds of foods. Although traditional methods were initially used among the drying methods for the production of dried fruits and vegetables, drying machines are preferred with the development of technology. Food drying machines are quite diverse. There are fruit and vegetable drying systems such as home oven, vacuum, freeze, microwave, drum and heat pump drying machines.

Ekotec produces food drying machines with heat pump technology from renewable energy sources. This method is well known in the world and is newly known in our country. It is quite advantageous compared to other drying systems.

The logic of heat pump food dryers is generally the same as heat pumps. It takes heat from a source at a lower temperature and transfers it to another at a higher temperature. The source used here is the air source found in nature. The drying air is dehumidified by the evaporator and reheated by the heat pump's condenser. The maximum drying temperature is determined by the condensation temperature of the refrigerant used and reaches 65°C.
