EKOTEC DEHUMIDIFIER DEVICE
What is Humidity and Why Does It Occur?
Humidity refers to the water vapor in the air, while dampness (or moisture) occurs in areas with excess moisture, leading to the growth of mold and fungi. Under normal conditions, the humidity level should be below 55%. Problems related to moisture are typically observed in ground floors, basements, areas that do not receive sunlight, and similar environments. Damp areas create a strong odor, damaging the building, belongings, and health. With a dehumidifier, you can easily get rid of excess moisture.
What is a Dehumidifier?
Ekotec dehumidifiers are devices that reduce the humidity levels in residential buildings, construction sites, and food production sectors. These devices use environmentally friendly refrigerant gases, making them cost-effective to operate. The size of the device is chosen based on its capacity, and they are suitable for both continuous or short-term use. The startup system is very simple, and the risk of failure is minimal. These devices are most effective in environments with temperatures between 20°C and 30°C, providing maximum dehumidification capacity.
In very cold regions, to achieve effective dehumidification, the device must be heated internally. These systems, like heat pumps and air conditioners, contain a compressor, gas, condenser, and fans inside. In a similar manner, dehumidification can also be achieved with heat pumps. This system resembles an air-to-air heat pump.
Dehumidifier Capacity (Examples):
- 30°C / 80% RH: 26 Liters
- 20°C / 80% RH: 13 Liters
- 20°C / 60% RH: 10 Liters
- 10°C / 60% RH: 5.5 Liters
These values are valid for approximately 24 hours.
Dehumidifier Applications:
- Residential Buildings
- New Constructions
- Water-damaged Areas
- Offices
- Warehouses requiring standard humidity levels
- Agricultural Areas
- Food Industry
- Carpet Drying
- Factories
These devices are compact, reliable, sturdy, and mobile, allowing them to be moved easily. They include high-efficiency fans and compressors that operate silently. All devices are equipped with frost protection. If desired, a bucket can be placed in the device’s reservoir, or a hose can be connected to drain the water outside.
Dehumidifier Capacity Calculation:
The required capacity of a dehumidifier depends on the size of the area and the humidity level. High-capacity devices are used in pools, while smaller devices are sufficient for residential buildings. For more specific information regarding capacity calculations, feel free to contact us.
